Like many modern love stories, this one started with a swipe. On Valentine’s Day, 2022, Sara was about to give up on the whole online dating thing when she stumbled on Matt’s profile. She sent a “Hail Mary” message to Matt thinking nothing would come of it. She was wrong. Then began a conversation that lasted hours, and as these things go, quickly progressed to the sharing of cell phone numbers, and planning of a first date.

That first date was filled with conversation, and laughter—so much so that we shut down the restaurant and planned the second date in the parking lot. We bonded over our love of the outdoors, our inability to take life too seriously, and the ease of just being together. It didn’t take us long to realize this was it.

It really didn’t matter what we did together—we cooked, traveled, camped, attended Renaissance festivals and theme parties, and enjoyed lazy weekends at home. All we knew, and still know, is that we want to spend the rest of our lives together “hanging out and doing stuff.”

More than anything, we are so grateful to celebrate our love with the people who mean the most to us. We can't wait to share this special day with you. Cheers!
